Many companies find our simulated training “Real-Plays” to be incredibly effective for training their staff in handling difficult people and/or scenarios. Participants are able to practise dealing with these difficult situations (with actors playing the role of antagonist) in a safe and supportive environment, rather than confronting difficult people for the first time on the floor. They can receive real non-judgmental feedback, and observe their peers handling similar situations. We have found the energy and focus of participants in these exercises to be palpable; learning becomes a total immersion experience, rather than merely a PowerPoint-based lesson.
